Ministries/Auxilaries

The FAME WMS are a group of ladies on a mission. They sponsor various activities and mission projects throughout the year. The wms work on ongoing projects throughout the year such as the Bethel Foundation. This foundation helps single mothers to get their educations, acquire housing and sponsors programs for the children of these mothers. The WMS volunteers regularly at the Infant Crisis Center. The group furnishes monthly "goodie" bags for our elderly members.

Health Ministry

The Health Ministry of FAME is a group of health care professionals who are also members of the church. They came together to help guide the congregation to better health. They do this by keeping the congregation updated on the most recent advances in medicine and treatments for African Americans, and how to take better care of ourselves. They administer flu shots to the members and also to the community. The Health Ministry believes that good health is part of God's plan for all people, and that it involves the whole person--body,mind and spirit. They pray with the members because they believe that prayer is Healing and promotes good health.

Bus Ministry

The bus is available to pick up those who would like to come worship with us or to participate in any of the events that happen at the church.
